The Denver Nuggets will march out one of the best front courts in the league this coming year.

Last season, the Denver Nuggets had a difficult time figuring which front court rotation worked best for them. It was not until Nikola Jokic was inserted into the starting rotation in December when the front court difficulties started recede.

There were still a fair share of hardships in the front court as the season progressed, but they were at least able to find a new star and cornerstone in Nikola Jokic. This off season, Denver’s fortunes finally changed.

Paul Millsap was lured back home to the Mile High and will now make up one of the up and coming star front courts in the NBA. He along with Nikola Jokic will be a deadly tandem to watch, but where do they rank out of all of the front courts in the league?

In my personal opinion, they are the third best in the entire league. The Pelicans front court of DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis is clearly number one followed by the Clippers’ consisting of Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan.

However, Denver’s new front court is easily the third best in the league with all of the moves which occurred in the off season. Memphis no longer has a dominant front court since Zach Randolph moved on in free agency leaving Marc Gasol as the last dominant defender of their grit and grind defense.

Paul Millsap and Nikola Jokic are poised to have a great season together and will have a nice contrast with their style of plays. Jokic is a crafty and polarizing player who can use his finesse whereas Millsap is a tough minded player who backs down from no one.

The Nuggets have the third best front court in the league and there really is not any argument.
