If anyone is up to the challenge, it is Gary Harris. Harris is coming off of another season where he improved significantly once again. He became a top ten three point shooter last year, still was a solid defender and still was an efficient cutter to the basket.

Denver was smart to give Gary a contract extension and many feel this year will be the year he has a coming out party and possibly become the next best two way player in the league. Gary Harris is the Nuggets’ best two way player on the perimeter and he is poised to showcase his talent this coming regular season.

Harris had a bit of a down year defensively last season, but he was battling some injuries so expect to get back to his usual defensive self this season. Aside from Nikola Jokic, Harris was the one player the Nuggets needed to lock up long term in order to avoid losing an integral part of their young core to free agency in the future.

The Nuggets are lucky to have a talent like Harris at the two guard spot and he is the clear cut position at this spot for the Nuggets. Gary is more than ready to live up to expectations this coming season and he has proven to be one of the hardest workers in the league with proof he has improved his craft every single season in his young career.
