Lacking in Execution

This point makes up both energy and effort.

More from Nugg Love

It is very obvious that the Nuggets did not execute Michael Malone’s defensive game plan as they allowed uncontested shot after shot.

The Denver Post’s tweet summed up the Nugget’s defensive execution perfectly.

In the small sample size of plays they did execute, the play turned out positive.

Execution appears completely physical to most viewers.

However, from the perspective of a player, execution comes from mental toughness, something Denver lacked tonight.
