The Denver Nuggets are in the Eric Bledsoe sweepstakes once again.

The Denver Nuggets have not had a hard time getting things going to start the year and Eric Bledsoe is wanting out of his current predicament with the Phoenix Suns. Once again, the Eric Bledsoe to Denver trade talks are heating up like they did in the off season.

More from Nugg Love

Denver tried to land Bledsoe in the NBA draft by offering Emmanuel Mudiay and Kenneth Faried for the borderline all star point guard which eventually stagnated. Now, it would appear the same trade offer is in headlines once again and this begs a question, should the Nuggets actually try to get Bledsoe? There are good arguments for both sides.

For those who opposed to getting Eric Bledsoe, I can understand where they are coming from in terms of wanting Mudiay to develop. Also, Bledsoe has had an injury history which could handicap Denver’s ability to fully grow as a team. However, he may find new life with the Nuggets and suddenly become committed to paying attention to his health since the Nuggets with Bledsoe would be very intriguing.

On the flip side, Bledsoe could possibly turn their misfortunes around and form a nice big three with Paul Millsap and Nikola Jokic. Not to mention, the point guard spot would be finally figured out for Denver at least for a short period of time. Jamal Murray is having growing pains at the point and Emmanuel Mudiay is still very inconsistent for the team.

Not to mention, Denver has to ship Kenneth Faried off sometime considering he is unhappy with his role and Mudiay would be a nice building block for the young and rebuilding Phoenix Suns.

Regardless, this will be an interesting story line going forward into the young NBA season.
