The Nuggets have got off to a slow start this season, but if one player were to be traded, it would not be Kenneth Faried, but Wilson Chandler instead.

The Nuggets have not gotten the same Wilson Chandler that they had last season when he had a career high in points per game.

More from Nugg Love

Many have wanted Kenneth Faried to be traded after the controversial comments he made in the preseason, included myself. However, I may have spoke too soon after seeing how he has shifted momentum when he has entered the game this season.

Wilson Chandler has been a complete no show ever since he got inserted into the starting rotation after being unhappy with his role coming off the bench last year. If you take out the Brooklyn game, Wilson Chandler has been a relative no show in the offensive scheme.

If Wilson is going to keep making a big deal at the trade deadline every year and seem disinterested in being effective for the Nuggets, then Denver should look to trade Chandler rather than Faried. The Nuggets could still possibly make a deal with the Phoenix Suns if they are still interested in Eric Bledsoe, since the Suns do need a versatile wing.

Do not get me wrong, Faried would still be useful for the Suns, but with the way Faried has been hustling, he deserves to stay here more in the Mile High rather than Wilson Chandler since Chandler has been ineffective. Chandler would possibly find new life in Phoenix and the chemistry in the locker room, if he has been in fact unhappy in Denver the past couple of years.

Kenneth Faried would also be freed up for more minutes and possibly help the Denver Nuggets get back to form while the season is still very young.

I hate to say it, but Wilson Chandler should be the one who is traded if the team is going to make a trade, rather than Kenneth Faried.
