The Denver Nuggets will look to start a win streak and take on the Miami Heat.

The Denver Nuggets are coming off a great win and they will look to capitalize on this momentum as the Miami Heat come to the Mile High.

More from Nugg Love

The Heat may not exactly be the glamorous team they once were when they were led by Dwyane Wade in the past, but they have a lot of young talent and could make some noise in the Eastern Conference this season. Watch out for the center match up which will pit Nikola Jokic against Hassan Whiteside. Look for the Nuggets to possibly devise a defensive scheme which will force Whiteside away from the rim where he is most effective.

Goran Dragic is someone who can get hot in a quick second so the Nuggets need to make sure they don’t give him open looks and allow him to facilitate the Heat offense. Jamal Murray did a solid job against Kyle Lowry in the win over the Toronto Raptors, now he needs to look to repeat this performance in order to limit Dragic’s production.

The Nuggets offense will need to be clicking as Hassan Whiteside is the Heat’s defensive anchor and his defensive production can become contagious at times.

If Denver can run their offense and get good quality looks without forcing the issue, Miami will have a rough night in the Pepsi Center. The Nuggets are starting to finally find some type of chemistry between each other, so Miami may be in for a surprise if they play like they did against the Raptors the other night.

Next: Three stand out Nuggets so far

Denver may be riding high after a nice win, but they must be wary of this Miami squad who has the potential to play spoiler. All in all, this should be a fun match up.
