If they want to have any chance of defeating Golden State, they must shoot better than the 56% they shot from the line against Miami. Golden State is a super team for a reason and the Nuggets will have to play a near flawless game in order to win.
Look for the Nuggets to exploit the front court advantage they have with their star duo in Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap. Klay Thompson and Steph Curry will be an extremely tough match ups for the Denver back court, so Jokic and Millsap will have to be on their A game once again.
Millsap is coming off a season high 27 point outing and will look to ride this hot streak he is currently on and take advantage of Zaza Pachulia in the low post, a match up which clearly benefits Paul. Another thing to look out for is the battle of the second units.
Emmanuel Mudiay has found new life this season coming off the bench and the second unit can be a life saver at times when battling this star studded Golden State lineup. Golden State’s bench is nothing to overlook either as they are led by former Nugget, Andre Igoudala and a re vitalized Shaun Livingston. As a matter of fact, the end result of this game may come down to which bench is able to get the upper hand.

Golden State’s four stars are normally too much for teams, so the second unit will be a major x factor. Let’s hope to see a huge Denver Nuggets win over the defending champions at home.
