One thing many people do not know about Mason Plumlee is that he is featured in a rap song.

As I was watching the pregame show on the Altitude channel before the Nuggets battled the Nets, one particular segment caught my eye.

More from Nugg Love

It was a segment featuring Mason Plumlee and him talking about one of his good friends. He was talking about how he once paid $4,500 for hockey tickets to go to a NHL game. His friend was asked how much he spent and he told the reporter.

Okay, so what’s the big deal? Well, apparently his response became catchy enough for a hook to a rap song. Yes, his friend does rap and of course what did he ask Mason to do? Well of course get in on the song with him. Yep, Mason isn’t just an NBA player. He is also a rapper.

Okay, he didn’t exactly rap as he really just said a couple of lines so he could be featured in the song, but hey, isn’t nice to see there is more facets to our beloved Nuggets lifestyles than just basketball. And believe it or not, Plumlee’s, or ” Plum Dog Millionaire,” if you will, is actually pretty catchy.

If you are wondering  what the song is called, then just look up 4,500 by Will Roush on YouTube, or you can click on the link provided here to hear Plumlee’s other talent.

Will Roush is a notorious Rangers fan and this song was actually made during Mason’s tenure with the Portland Trail Blazers.

So, if he can rap, then maybe he needs to get his other big man counterpart, Nikola Jokic, to collaborate on a hype song for the Nuggets’ warm ups.

Next: Making the offense even better

Okay, okay yes I’m kidding, but hey after listening to this, I have to say, I’ve actually heard worse.
