However, Denver is also in a nice little groove as the entire team seems to be clicking on all cylinders right now. Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap going up against the Orlando front court featuring Aaron Gordon will be an intriguing match up to watch.
Denver will want to close out this home stand on a positive note as they have a key division match up coming up with the Portland Trail Blazers. What better way to end a home stand than to defeat a up and coming Eastern Conference team who is rolling with a ton of momentum right now. Especially with a key stretch of games which will all be on the road coming up very soon.
The Nuggets will need to shore up the transition defense in order to keep up with this young Orlando team. Otherwise, Denver will be in for a very long night. The bench will once again be key as they were very vital against the Thunder where they were led by Emmanuel Mudiay’s big 21 point night. Look for Mudiay to keep up this high level of play.
Jamal Murray will also be key as he will be matched up with the young Elfrid Payton. Murray has been struggling a bit the last couple of games and this game will be the perfect opportunity for him to get right back on track.
