win against Lonzo and the Lakers.
The game started off as any other would, nothing extreme happening through the first 17 minutes and 40 seconds. Through that time, the Lakers led the Nuggets 50-32 but as Nikola Jokic was fouled on two attempts with no whistle on either play, Coach Malone reacted by walking about fifteen feet or so onto the court. Malone was red-hot as he confronted Rodney Moss, who immediately ejected Malone. Moments later, Jokic was ejected as he joined into the argument with Malone and Moss. The Nuggets were coached the rest of the night by Wes Unseld Jr.
As if this double ejection had not been enough, Mott had the audacity to throw a technical foul Jamal Murray’s way after another no-call foul a few minutes later in the second quarter. Moss was not a friend to Denver and quite frankly, it looked as though he was on the Lakers payroll. After losing Paul Millsap in that same dreaded second quarter to a sprained wrist, Denver continued a rough night and found a 127-109 loss to the Lakers.
