The Nuggets upcoming stretch of games will be crucial.
The Denver Nuggets have one of their easier stretches of their schedule coming up. As a result, they will have to be ready and take advantage.
With a tough stretch from mid December to January, going at least 5-7 in this next stretch is a must. With Paul Millsap still out, they need to get some momentum going and find a way to build a cushion for their playoff hopes.
Against teams like the Lakers, Magic and Pacers, they cannot overlook them and get upset. This has already happened with the Lakers on the road and Denver cannot allow it to happen again.

The great post season teams always take care of business against the lesser teams. This is something Denver needs to get in a habit of doing. Especially since they have a history of overlooking teams they should defeat.
If the Nuggets can do well in this upcoming stretch, it will give them some momentum going forward. Momentum they can use to possibly get an upset over a better team to help their post season hopes. Here are the next seven games for the Nuggets.
They play the Jazz, Bulls, Lakers, Mavericks, Pelicans, Magic, and Pacers. All of these teams are teams Denver could beat or already have beaten.
The Pelicans may give them fits without Millsap, but every other team is no where near as successful as Denver this season.
Not to mention, Utah is still without Rudy Gobert for awhile which will give Nikola Jokic a great chance for a good game. The Bulls are rebuilding, Denver will want revenge against the Lakers and the Magic have fallen off a bit. New Orleans does have Cousins and Davis, but who knows what will happen. And, the Pacers are a young team trying to find their identity.
