Nuggets Start Road Trip with Disappointing Loss to Mavericks
It’s almost no surprise that the Nuggets kicked off a six game road trip with a very disappointing loss to none other than the Dallas Mavericks. This, for one, should not have been a game that the Nuggets lost. Before tonight, Dallas was just 4-10 at home but now, they were able to take a win over Denver, who is now 3-8 on the road.
Nuggets vs. Mavericks
Dallas set the pace and the Nuggets were not able to come back. The Mavericks led the way through the first, ending 39-23. As if the first quarter weren’t enough, the Nuggets found themselves down 64-47. After the half, Denver attempted to come back as they outscored Dallas 35-29 but that wasn’t enough, the Mavericks beat the Nuggets 122-105.
