road. They went to 4-10 on the road for the year so far. Players you would not expect to step up showed up to play and propelled Denver to a resounding win. Even Malik Beasley got some meaningful minutes. Without further adieu, let’s take a look at some of the best player grades from this particular game.
Will Barton-A+- Will Barton has actually been a pleasant surprise this year. After a bit of a down year last season, he really has bounced back this year. In this game, he did it all. He had 19 points, five assists, six rebounds and even made presence known defensively. Barton recorded four steals and two blocks. Not bad for the Nuggets’ sixth man off the bench.
Kenneth Faried-A- Faried has been making the most of his opportunities with the two star big men out with injury. He came away with another double double in this win. Faried finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds while displaying great energy as usual. His 80% shooting from the field certainly did not hurt either.
Emmanuel Mudiay-B+- Mudiay finally had a solid game after a string of games where he struggled. Mudiay was aggressive, but not to the point of committing too many turnovers. He finished with 18 points on 50% shooting and also recorded five assists along with a box plus/minus of +11. Now, he just needs to find a way to play like this on a consistent basis.
