The Denver Nuggets will take on the red hot Indiana Pacers.

The Denver Nuggets are coming off a solid road win against the Orlando Magic. Denver had some key players step up in the win like Mudiay, Beasley, Barton and Faried. However, they will have a much tougher test in Indiana.

More from Nugg Love

Indiana is coming off a win where they defeated the Eastern Conference champion, Cleveland Cavaliers. Not to mention, Victor Oladipo has been on a hot streak as of late and Denver must be very wary of him.

The Nuggets have struggled mightily on the road this year and despite the overall records, they will be underdogs in this match up. Nikola Jokic is still day to day with his ankle injury, so the Nuggets will need other means of production like they received in the win over the Orlando Magic.

Denver will have to play the type of defense like they displayed against the Magic, especially with how well Indiana has been clicking on the offensive side of the floor. Guys like Oladipo and Myles Turner will have to be key focal points in the Nuggets’ scouting report in order for them to succeed.

Indiana must not get too confident either. Denver still has plenty of young talent to make up for the loss of Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap. If they overlook guys such as Jamal Murray and Gary Harris, things will get ugly for the Pacers very quickly.

Neither team currently has a strong post presence, so the battle will be won on the perimeter with guards and wings. Denver will have to utilize guys like Wilson Chandler, Gary Harris and Jamal Murray if they have any hope of taking this game in Indiana.

Next: Malik Beasley deserves more minutes

Otherwise, the Nuggets will come away with another disappointing loss on the road.
