In the win over the Pelicans at the Pepsi Center, the Nuggets had a few key performances worth mentioning.

The Denver Nuggets went out kicking and screaming in the overtime win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Thanks to a few players who really stepped up, Denver continues to hunt for a solid playoff spot. Nikola Jokic returning did help, but Malone had him come off the bench to play it safe. Without further adieu, let’s grade some of the best performers from this overtime thriller.

straight 28 point games, he followed up with an efficient 15 point game while grabbing five rebounds in the process. Murray looks as if he is finally looking comfortable at the new position as he continues to learn the point.

Gary Harris- B- Harris was efficient like usual. He finished with 21 points on 56.2% shooting. Not to mention, he also had a nice five assist total in the win. He also came away with two steals showcasing his defensive prowess every one is accustomed to from him. He still did let Holliday score 25 points, but Jrue has been having a great year this season. Other than that, Harris had another solid game.

Trey Lyles- B+- Lyles continues to become more likeable in the Mile High. He has done a great job in stepping up in Millsap’s absence. He scored 19 points on 50% shooting and also came down with seven rebounds. Lyles also shot an outstanding 57.1% from three point territory solidifying himself as a legitimate stretch four.

Will Barton- B+- Barton had one of his hot nights. He scored 11 of the Nuggets 19 overtime points and was crucial down the stretch in the fourth quarter. He hit a contested three to regain the momentum in the waning seconds in the fourth when New Orleans looked as if they were going to take the win. Barton finished the game with 19 points and six assists.
