Oracle Arena. Despite both teams being short a star, the Nuggets were the ones who played the better game as it resulted in a 96-81 win for them. Denver is now on a two game win streak thanks to winning back to back games on the road. So, who stepped up in the win over the defending champions? Without further adieu, let’s take a look at the players who really stood out in this key win.

Nikola Jokic-A- Jokic seems to really have healed from the ankle injury he suffered earlier in the month. After taking his old teammate, Jusuf Nurkic, to town with a 27 point game the other night, he topped it off with an 18 point showing along with nine rebounds. He was able to fare pretty well despite starting at the power forward spot and matching up with star, Draymond Green.

Gary Harris- B+- Harris just keeps being efficient like usual. Harris out played Klay Thompson by a bit by topping Klay’s 15 point total with 19 points of his own. On top of this, he also had two steals and one block. He did a solid job guarding Klay as Thompson only shot 28.6% from the field for the night.

Wilson Chandler-B+- Chandler is finally forming into the player we were expecting him to be this season. With reports swirling about him finally being healthy after battling a bad back all season long, it makes sense why he is just now starting to get into the flow of things. Chandler almost came away with a double double as he finished with 15 points and nine rebounds on 46.2% shooting. It is great to see him producing at a high clip once again.
