The Nuggets will look to continue their win streak in Minnesota.

The Denver Nuggets come into Minnesota looking to avenge their earlier loss to the Timberwolves from this season.

The last game between these two teams saw Denver blow a 14 point lead in the fourth quarter and made people question whether they are really playoff material without Paul Millsap. Things have really changed since then though.

The Nuggets are currently on a three game win streak which has included demolishing the defending champion Golden State Warriors at the Oracle Arena. Denver recently out played the Utah Jazz at the Pepsi Center and now come to Minnesota on the back end of a back to back.

The Timberwolves have been one of the more pleasant surprises this year as they currently stand at the top half of the Western Conference standings. Only the Warriors, Rockets and Spurs are ahead of them as of right now.

However, they have not yet played this Denver team while the Nuggets are gelling at the right team both offensively and defensively. Denver will still have to scrap and claw for this win, but they do have the talent and skill set to pull off this “upset.”

The Timberwolves are benefited with a young big three with Karl Anthony Towns, Jimmy Butler and Andrew Wiggins. Meanwhile, the Nuggets only have one of their superstars active currently, (Nikola Jokic,) but Denver still has a plethora of talent. Gary Harris and Jamal Murray cannot be overlooked and they have proven to burn the opposition int the past three games.

It will be tough, but the Nuggets will have a good chance to defeat the division leading Timberwolves.

Next: Nuggets most likely on the move

If Denver can keep up the defensive pressure from the past couple of games, then they will be able to extend their three game win streak to four.
