The match up to watch in the Nuggets vs. Kings game will be Nikola Jokic and Zach Randolph.

Nikola Jokic will have a tough test going up against Zach Randolph, who anchors the Kings’ front court.

More from Nugg Love

Jokic is coming off a rough night where despite a win over the division rival Jazz, he did not even score in double figures and had a rough looking shooting percentage.

The Kings may not be an elite team, but they have made some steps towards improvement this season. Zach Randolph has had a lot to do with this.

Zach was their major off season acquisition and despite some off court trouble to begin the year, he has been a great contributor for this young Kings squad. He has a physical and gritty type of play style which has been responsible for much of his success throughout his entire career. He is a silent, under the radar type of star in the NBA and his style is one which could give Jokic fits in this match up.

While they both play different positions, they are still major components in their team’s front courts. Plus, Jokic has been playing a bit of power forward as they have been toying and tinkering with Mason Plumlee at the starting center spot.

While Jokic has struggled with physical bigs in the past, he has actually held his own against them this season. However, Randolph will be the true test for him when it comes to physicality.

Whoever gets the upper hand in this low post battle will be a major dictator in the out come of this game. These two contrasting styles of play are making for what should be a very fun and interesting match up to watch in Sacramento.
