Despite letting Dallas mount a comeback, the Nuggets had a couple of key players have outstanding games. Nikola Jokic was clearly the player of the game, but Gary Harris deserves a lot of credit in this win as well.

Both had over 20 points and were extremely efficient in many other facets of the game. So, how well did they do? Without further adieu, let’s assign some player grades.

Nikola Jokic-A+- Jokic seems to be back to the old Joker we know and love. He record a monster 18 rebounds to go along with 29 points and seven assists. Not to mention, he shot 47.8% from the field and also came away with two steals and a block. He was aggressive and finding multiple ways to be effective throughout the entire game. He was a big reason Denver was able to hang on by the skin of their teeth and win by three points. It is great to see the young big man getting physical and taking over games like this once again.

Gary Harris-A- Harris was silently effective. Despite missing a couple of crucial free throws down the stretch, he made his presence known on both sides of the floor. He came away with a significant four steals and also posted an efficient 25 points. His field goal percentage was a solid 57.1% and also knocked down three out of six shots from long range. In 37 minutes of play, Gary showed why he was worth the 84 million dollar contract extension he received from the Denver Nuggets before the regular season began.
