Jamal Murray’s steak has came to an end.

Brett Favre has the NFL start streak of 297 games.

More from Nugg Love

Cal Ripken, Jr. holds the MLB streak with an astonishing 2,632 games.

Jamal Murray’s 126 game streak in his 2 year NBA career ends tonight with what appears to be a concussion.

Since entering the NBA last year, Jamal Murray has played through two sports hernias, ankle sprains, and a bunch of nicks and bruises, but tonight is the first game missed he’s missed in his career.

In all honesty, it might be for the best to let the kid sit out one game. He has been a rugged guard, but as of late, he has been struggling. This time off may be a blessing in disguise for the young Kentucky sensation to get his groove back.

Denver was able to find a gem in the NBA draft last year with the seventh overall pick which resulted in the Canadian donning the blue and yellow. It is now looking as if it is good we did not have the chance to select Buddy Hield when you compare the two young guards from that draft.

If you do not remember, Hield went one pick before to the New Orleans Pelicans only to be traded in the block buster deal which landed Demarcus Cousins in Anthony Davis’ town.

I digress, but Murray has nothing to be ashamed of having to sit out due to a concussion. He has plenty of career left to play, so no reason to jeopardize it.

Toughest Canadian of all time?  Likely.

Can’t wait to get the kid back.
