Nikola Jokic vs. Deandre Jordan: Match up to watch

The Nuggets will battle the Clippers and the one match up to watch will be between the centers, Nikola Jokic and Deandre Jordan.
The Denver Nuggets are trying to hold on for dear life in the playoff race and Nikola Jokic has been trying his best to keep them a float. Deandre Jordan for the Clippers has been mired in trade rumors all season long, but is still being a defensive force for the Clippers.

This rim protector going up against this rising star will be an intriguing match up to keep an eye on in this game. Jokic is coming off a monster performance where he scored 29 points, but also pulled down an impressive 18 rebounds to help propel Denver to a close win on their home floor.
Jordan has always been a terrific rim protector paired with Blake Griffin down in the paint. He helps their spacing by allowing Blake the freedom to stretch the floor while he does his duty in the low post.
Jokic will have to utilize his jumper to bring Jordan away from the basket allowing possible cutting opportunities. Not to mention, Jokic is more than capable of burning defenses with his soft touch on his jump shot. It will be an interesting match up considering these players have different styles.
Jordan is more of a throw back big man as he likes to bang down low and protect the rim. Jokic is more of a modern big man who can stretch the floor and dazzle fans with his crafty passing and be effective while doing so against his opponent.
This is not the only match up to keep an eye on, but it certainly will be the key one in this particular game.
