The Nuggets were out played by the Suns on their own home court.

At the beginning of the season, if you said the Phoenix Suns would defeat the Denver Nuggets in the Pepsi Center, many would have looked at you cross eyed. Sadly, this has now come true and reality is starting to set in on Nuggets Nation.

The playoffs are becoming more and more distant with each terrible loss and the Nuggets have no one to blame but themselves. Everyone knew losing to the bottom feeders would be their demise and Denver made it a bad habit they can’t seem to crack now.

Denver is becoming more and more frustrating as they progress through the season and they look like Paul Millsap will not even be able to save them from this downward spiral they are currently locked into right now.

They were unable to do the one thing they needed to in order to defeat the Suns. All they had to do was contain Devin Booker. Instead, Booker had a great game where he went off for 30 points on 47.8% shooting to go along with five assists and five rebounds. That is not to say Gary Harris had a bad game as he still had 16 points and three steals. But, Booker was the clear victor in this match up at the Pepsi Center.

T.J. Warren also had himself quite the game as he finished with 25 points and also had two steals of his own. Denver looked lack luster all night and were unable to mount a second half comeback when they were down 50-60. The Nuggets are now falling farther and farther behind in the playoff chase and it is starting to look more like a repeat of last season.
