1. Jamal Murray is getting hot at the right time for an event like this.

Murray has been finding his footing as of late, and it’s been fun to watch in a Nuggets uniform. A particular performance that sticks out is a game that took place against the rival Trail Blazers in the Pepsi Center.

Murray broke a career-high for points in this game, dropping 38 points in a 14-19 shooting performance. On top of that he added 6 assists and 5 rebounds, proving that he was a multi-dimensional player for the offense (per ESPN).

Murray had a clutch and-one at the end of the game, putting them over the top for the win.

He’s had a stretch of impressive performances such as this, and he will look to gain momentum going into the break. He has found his shot, as the threes are coming in bunches, and his ball movement has been impressive.

If Murray has been able to do what he has done lately, then a game with not much defense played should be second nature to him.
