Miked Up: Deja vu in San Antonio for Nuggets

SAN ANTONIO,TX - JANUARY 30 : Tony Parker
SAN ANTONIO,TX - JANUARY 30 : Tony Parker

How did that happen again?!

I don’t know if I feel bad or hate Will Barton.  To his defense, Murray, Harris, and Lyles all should have taken that last shot other rather than dishing to him at the buzzer.  (To where I am pretty sure he even got this shot tipped.)

More from Nugg Love

Overall, it’s reaffirming to see that we are at least contending with teams the like of the Celtics and the Spurs but it still hurts..it still hurts.

One bright spot was we got to see a Malik Beasley sighting! And the bright spot? He played some lock down defense when he was in making the best use of his few minutes.

Other notable appearances included the veteran, Richard Jefferson and Darrell Arthur. As a matter of fact, Arthur actually started the game at the center position replacing the injured Mason Plumlee.

Jokic did not too bad, despite playing the power forward, but still had a rough time containing the All Star, LaMarcus Aldridge, who put up 30 points.

Another big one Thursday against the newly hot Thunder.

Going to be a longggg February, everybody. Seriously, if you do not believe me, then take a look at the schedule.

Good news is that we will be battle tested and calloused going into the final stretch of the season ready to play the (likely) top 4 seeds in the West.
