The Denver Nuggets survived a close call against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but they won by three points on a game winning three point shot from Gary Harris.
To say this a little too close for comfort for the Nuggets would be an understatement. Despite having a 20 point lead at one point, they let the Thunder creep back into the game after their second unit came in the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Then, Russell Westbrook took over along with a 43 point out put from Paul George. George even hit a game tying three point shot with three seconds left which deflated the Pepsi Center.
However, luck finally smiled upon the Nuggets as after two straight losses of heart break at the buzzer, they finally caught a break. Jokic threw a long cross court pass to Gary Harris and Harris drained it over Westbrook who tried to help on defense. Suddenly, the Pepsi Center went into a frenzy as Denver got a must win.
With the remaining schedule, it was imperative the Nuggets got this win in order to stay a float in the Western Conference playoff picture.
Jamal Murray went off as he had 33 points and was electric down the stretch. He even got into a bit shoot out with Russell Westbrook down the stretch as they ended up trading baskets for a bit. Not to mention, he broke Steven Adam’s ankles in the second quarter.
The Thunder did a solid job of coming back though. Reggie Miller put it perfectly during the game, they looked “dead in the water,” and suddenly “we have a game.”
