The Denver Nuggets seemed to not be victim to a post All Star Break hangover as they took out the San Antonio Spurs.
The Denver Nuggets continue to show how resilient they have become in the past couple of years. Despite battling adversity (and the refs,) for the entire game, they were able to defeat the third seeded San Antonio Spurs for the second time this season.

Nikola Jokic made history yet again as he and the late, great Wilt Chamberlain are now the only players 6’9 or taller in NBA history to record three straight triple doubles ( 28 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds). I don’t care who you are, if you are in the same sentence as Wilt the Stilt, you are doing something right.
Gary Harris also had a solid night as he came away with the second highest scoring total of the Nuggets with 23 points including a sweet dunk on a fast break. Harris also tallied two steals showing his ability as a two way player.
Wilson Chandler has became “Ill Will,” again as he has really turned on the jets ever since the trade deadline. I have been very hard on him all year, but I have to say, he is becoming the X factor we need in this final stretch of the regular season.
Despite letting LaMarcus Aldridge post 38 points, Denver was able to find a way to pull away late against the Spurs. Very similar to the last time these two teams faced off against each other.

The Nuggets have been hot this month despite having the toughest schedule in the month of February. They will take on the only top Western Conference team they have not defeated yet this year, the Houston Rockets, in their next game. Here’s hoping the team can keep this great momentum going.
