The Denver Nuggets have had a rough schedule as of late, but they will be battle tested come post season time as a result of this recent stretch.

The Denver Nuggets have done a great job of navigating their February landscape. As the month comes to a close and we get ready to transition into the last part of the NBA regular season, the Nuggets have their sights on late April.

The Nuggets have had a solid month of February despite a treacherous stretch of games, without their star, Paul Millsap, nonetheless, Denver has found a way to stay in the hunt for the Western Conference playoffs.

The Nuggets have had their downs, there is no question about this, but wins against the Golden State Warriors, the San Antonio Spurs on two different occasions and the Milwaukee Bucks are wins which immensely help a team looking to make the post season. Not to mention, it builds up confidence for the young core while they learn what it takes to truly be the best in this league on the fly.

The return of star, Paul Millsap, will provide a much needed boost to the Nuggets if they do end up making the playoffs this year as he has had his fair share of post season experience. Combine this experience along with the trials and tribulations the squad has gone through without him, suddenly, Denver will be an extremely tough out in the Western Conference playoffs.

The Nuggets still have plenty of adjustments to make and they need to re-integrate Millsap back into the rotation, but they will be the most battle hardened team come playoff time with how brutal their schedule has been lately.

Next: Millsap's return

Now, the challenge will be staying in the playoff chase until mid to late April for this Nuggets core.
