Jamal Murray has been struggling as of late and now is the worst time for him to be regressing.

Jamal Murray has now became one of the focal points of the future for the Denver Nuggets. He has made a somewhat smooth transition from the shooting guard spot to the point guard spot this season.

However, in the last few games, he has regressed drastically. Whether it is making bone headed mistakes in the waning seconds of a close game, sloppy passes or crucial turnovers, now is the worst time for him to be having these types of games.

Denver is in a delicate situation right now as they are now on the outside looking in of the Western Conference post season. Now, more than ever, the Nuggets need Murray to step up and he is doing the opposite. He has been way too sloppy with the ball.

There have been times in the past games as he has driven into the paint and lost the ball by kicking it off his foot or letting the big men intimidate him. Not to mention, he has to stop trying the fancy, behind the back pass as it has resulted in a crucial turnover too many times for the Nuggets.

Denver is in a tight race for playoff positioning once again this year and Murray is going to be one of the X factors down the stretch of this last quarter of the regular season. As of right now, he is playing like a kid who is lost and is trying to impress the fans rather than putting the needs of the team ahead of his individual performance.

I know this is harsh, but it needs to be said, especially is he is serious about getting this squad to the post season.
