Despite falling out of playoff positioning, the one bright spot for the Nuggets right now is Paul Millsap.
Paul Millsap looked great in his return to the floor against the Los Angeles Clippers. Millsap answered the bell with nine points and couple great blocks and some nice intensity on the defensive end of the floor.

If he can continue this level of play going forward, he will be back to his normal, All Star caliber in no time flat. It will also help the Nuggets get back into the race for the Western Conference post season as they are now on the outside looking in after the terrible loss to the Clippers at home.
Millsap is the type of leader who has a place on any team in the league. He is unselfish, wants what is best for his teammates, but can also go on a hot streak of his own when asked as well, as he did for many years with the Atlanta Hawks.
Millsap is the kind of player the Nuggets will need in this home stretch of the regular season. He has the experience and leadership to whip the young guns back into shape and can influence a team with how well he plays. He just might be the link which is needed for Denver to be motivated to make the playoffs again and go on a win streak of their own.
Millsap is the defensive anchor the Nuggets need drastically and one big reason Denver shelled out big bucks for him in this past free agency. Denver has done a good job holding down the fort while he recovered from his wrist injury, but it is now time to re-integrate the All Star into the starting rotation.
