The Denver Nuggets will look to get the bad taste from last night’s loss out of their mouth by attempting to sweep the season series against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Denver Nuggets took one step forward and two steps back yet again. After defeating the reigning Eastern Conference champions, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver took one to the chin in Dallas against the Mavericks.

This put them on the outside looking in of the Western Conference playoff picture considering the Clippers own the tie breaker over the Nuggets. The next match up for Denver will not be any easier as the hungry Cavs will look to prove to the Nuggets why they are still considered a power house in the NBA and show the recent loss was just a fluke.

Any team with LeBron James on it is a threat in this league, no matter how bad the rest of the unit around him may be and the Cavs actually have solid young players surrounding the King.

Denver is looking to give the Nuggets fan base something to get excited about again as the twitter-sphere nearly exploded after the terrible loss at the hands of the Dirk Nowitzki led Mavericks, a team which is clearly tanking the season.

Cleveland has had their fair share of struggles this year too, but they have proven to be more adept at bouncing back than the Nuggets have shown in the past. One team is a Finals team from last season for a reason while the other one missed the post season by one game. An unfortunate possibility which could repeat itself this year if they do not kick it in gear soon.

It will be a tough bounce back game on the tail end of a back to back, but they will at least be in their safe haven of the Pepsi Center for this game.
