The Denver Nuggets will welcome the Los Angeles Lakers into the Mile High and try to snap their current losing streak.
The Denver Nuggets are currently in free fall mode and it is costing them a chance at making the post season. Especially when teams like the Jazz and Pelicans are extremely hot as of right now, which does not bode well going forward for Denver.

Denver will be in for another trap game as they welcome the young and budding Los Angeles Lakers to the Pepsi Center. While the Lakers are rebuilding, that does not seem to matter with this Nuggets squad, as evident in the Mavericks loss.
So, which match up should we watch for in this game? How about the power forward battle between Paul Millsap and Julius Randle. Millsap is trying to find some type of offensive rhythm ever since he returned to the starting rotation. Randle is one of the Lakers young guns who they are trying to cultivate right now and will be in for a tough match up against an All Star power forward.
Millsap cannot overlook the young Randle though. Millsap may be an All Star, but he needs to make sure a young power forward does not take advantage of him and get an advantage over him. Millsap needs to secure the ball better and demand the ball more in order for him to get back into his offensive groove.
Randle has been somewhat of a dark horse for the Lakers this year as the media has been focused on Lonzo Ball and the surprising Kyle Kuzma. What has been overlooked is Randle has been developing nicely and has actually improved a few facets of his game.

It may not be a premier match up on paper, but this will be a key facet to the outcome of this game.
