The Denver Nuggets will look to get a key win over the Sacramento Kings at home as they continue to hunt for a post season spot in the Western Conference.

The Denver Nuggets finally got their two star big men to co-exist at a high clip in the most recent win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Paul Millsap scored 21 points along with getting three key blocks and six rebounds. Nikola Jokic on the other hand, had 21 points as well and tallied six assists along with six key rebounds. They will look to duplicate this performance against the Sacramento Kings as the rebuilding Kings will come out ready to make a statement.

The last time these two teams squared off, the Kings defeated the Nuggets thanks to Vince Carter rewinding the clock back to his “Vinsanity,” days. As a result, Denver cannot overlook this veteran and must be ready to commit a lot of defensive help to him if he happens to get hot again.

Millsap will have to be prepared on the defensive end of the floor trying to guard Zach Randolph and ready to help Jokic if Willy Cauley-Stein happens to beat him in the paint and drives to the basket.

The Nuggets offense will have to be clicking on all cylinders and be ready to push the pace considering the game will be at Mile High. The fast break opportunities will need to be plentiful for the Nuggets and be ready to out run this Sacramento Kings squad. They have struggled in offensive sets all year, so it would make sense for them to go back to which has worked for them this season.
