The Denver Nuggets were able to outlast the Detroit Pistons thanks to some key performances.

The Denver Nuggets had another close call, but this time around, they were able to hand onto the win this time around. This time, they were able to defeat the Detroit Pistons led by a triple double by the Joker, Nikola Jokic. However, he wasn’t the only one who had a strong performance in this particular game. Will Barton was also key along with Jamal Murray. Let’s take a look at some of the best performers from the win over the Detroit Pistons at the Pepsi Center.

More from Nugg Love

Nikola Jokic-A+– Jokic got his eight triple double of the season. He tallied 23 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists and actually surprised the fan base with some defensive flashes. Jokic came away with three key steals and also logged three blocks. For this game, he deserves an A+. Let’s hope he can do this a few more times this season.

Will Barton-A– Barton was the good Will Barton is this match up against the Pistons. He was able to fill the void Gary Harris left with when he went down with injury. He scored 23 points on 50% shooting from the field. A good showing for Will “The Thrill,” Barton. Barton bounced back nicely from the Lakers debacle. He is inconsistent, but this game, he was very hot.

Jamal Murray-A– Jamal Murray showcased his high ceiling in this game. He was the high point man with 26 points and nearly got a double double with nine rebounds as well. A great rebounding line for a point guard. The two steals adds a nice touch to an already very impressive stat line for the young point guard. He continues to impress the Denver fan base as he keeps developing at an extremely fast rate.
