You’re not going to find a bigger fan of this young man. I believe he will have a hall-of-fame level career.
I almost put “kid” instead of “young man”. I have to remind myself that Jamal just turned 21. This is his first full season as a starter. No matter how good he is now, he’s still a couple of years from his prime.

Murray struggling to just 5-for-18 from the floor last night was a tough blow. With Gary Harris out, the Nuggets needed a big night from Jamal and it looks like that pressure had him pressing. What usually seems free-flowing and natural looked forced.
Still, it would be a disservice to the Nuggets to let Jamal off-the-hook for his performance. This is the big-time and he’s a big-time guy. This is where it’s in his personality to shine. Makes the turnovers and bad decisions in Memphis that much harder to digest.
This is also, by a long way, the most minutes Jamal has played in a season. That the young man has held up as well as he has are an indicator for why I think he (and Jokic) will be so great.
Iron will guys are hard to come by.
