The Denver Nuggets may as well kiss their post season chances goodbye, but they will see if they can bounce back against the Miami Heat.

The Denver Nuggets lost to the Memphis Grizzlies, a result which is completely unacceptable, and the Nuggets are most likely going to be on the outside looking in once again this year.

They will continue their seven game road trip by traveling to Miami to battle the Heat. This match up will be tough considering Dwyane Wade has looked re-vitalized ever since he was traded back to Miami where it all started for the future hall of famer.

With a possibility of Gary Harris missing another game, there is a good chance Denver disappoints their fans yet again. Something they have done way too often this year.

Nikola Jokic has had a good chunk of success against Hassan Whiteside in the past, so expect the Miami big man to come with a chip on his shoulder ready to prove something. Jokic has been on an absolute roll lately, but this is the perfect opportunity for Whiteside to showcase his skill set and have a great game, especially since Jokic is not very adept at the defensive side of the floor. It will be easier said than done for Whiteside though.

Denver has a lot to prove if they want to get back in good spirits with the fan base. They need to win this game and they must do it in convincing fashion. If it’s an ugly win, then they risk the narrative of “They can’t even tank correctly.”

With the post season hopes pretty much shot, and I don’t care what other teams win or lose, it is time for the players who have sat deep on the bench all year long (cough, Faried, cough), to see some time.

Next: Malone must go

Let’s see how this team responds against a Miami team with D Wade on it yet again.
