The Denver Nuggets are on another costly losing streak.

Thankfully, Nikola Jokic is still playing at a high level. He will have a tough match up with Robin Lopez who is a big and physical center who likes to body his way into the paint. The type of player who normally gets the best of Jokic and his defensive inefficiencies.

Too many times this season, Jokic has let relatively unknown players have career nights against him. Now, Lopez will have a good opportunity to have a terrific offensive showing as well.

On the other hand, Jokic has been a beast on the offensive end of the floor as of late. He has recorded triple doubles, 30 points games and games where he has just been solid overall in all offensive facets.

So, Lopez will not exactly have a cake walk on the defensive side of the floor either. This match up will be key as whoever gets the better of each other may dictate who comes away victorious in this game.

Jokic will have to stretch the floor in order to draw Lopez away from the rim allowing cutting opportunities for wings and guards to get open at the basket for the easy feed from the Joker. Lopez is an underrated rim protector, so it is imperative Jokic gets his jumper going early.

Lopez will be key for the Bulls as he is their best low post presence. If Chicago is smart, they will feed him every chance they get in order to force Jokic out of his comfort zone and play some shut down defense.

It will be a tall task for the Joker, but at the end of the day, he has it in him to surprise some people.
