After a costly losing streak, the Denver Nuggets were able to get back on track against the Chicago Bulls.

To say Denver Nuggets fans were angry coming into this match up would be a monumental understatement. Not only were they suffering from a terrible losing streak, the team had also dropped games to opponents who were the same caliber as the Chicago Bulls.

A frustrating team to be a fan of right now to say the very least. However, Denver showed up and played at a high level in all facets in this game.

They were led by Paul Millsap, who had been struggling recently. He posted some impressive numbers of 22 points, eight rebounds and showed his defensive capabilities by coming away with an impressive five steals. A great game to rebuild the veteran power forward’s confidence as he continues to find his role within this roster.

Nikola Jokic had his typical impressive stat line as he put up 21 points to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. Denver played a great team game despite being without Gary Harris, who continues to rehab his sprained knee.

The Nuggets had a total of seven different players finish in double figures scoring wise in this match up with the Bulls. The starting five did their part and the bench unit was led by key performances from Trey Lyles and Devin Harris.

Denver finished with a plus 11 rebounding differential as a team as they collected 45 boards on the night. These numbers on the glass are numbers the team should be getting every night considering the talent they possess down low.

It was a huge part in the win and it helped lead to the blow out victory in Chicago.
