However, the first quarter was yet another Nikola Jokic coming out party. Jokic was absolutely un guardable from everywhere on the court (given the Bulls were playing without most of their starters). His outside shot was falling, and he was turning Christiano Felicio and Noah Vonleh into barbecue chicken as The Big Shaqtus would say.
When the Nuggets move the ball around and make hard cuts, their offense flows very smoothly. It is when the team turns to isolation basketball and the remaining four players either float waiting for a shot or try to set an inefficient ball screen. The Nuggets will need to play more team flowing basketball to fight their way back into the playoff picture.
