Gary Harris and Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets make up one of the most intriguing back courts in the league.

The Denver Nuggets already have one of the most promising front courts in the league consisting of Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap. What about their back court though?

More from Nugg Love

I am glad you asked since this young back court has a ton of potential. They feed off each other extremely well and Murray thrives at a combo guard. Harris is an underrated two way player who is becoming more and more of a willing facilitator while still being a player with a clutch instinct from deep.

Could this back court rise to the ranks of top five in terms of point guard and shooting guard combinations?

For starters, there is the splash brothers in Golden State. Then, there is the back court in Washington consisting of John Wall and Bradley Beal. Not to mention, in the Nuggets’ own division, the Portland Trail Blazers possess C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard. Of course, we cannot forget about James Harden and Chris Paul in Houston.

Well, there is four elite back courts right there. The Nuggets have plenty of potential in Jamal Murray and Gary Harris to rise to at least the fifth best back court in the league.

To be perfectly honest, these are the only four notable back courts in the league with a legitimate star at both guard positions. With the way these two young players continue to develop, then the Nuggets will be in for a treat.

Not only will they have a top five front court with Nikola Jokic and a revived Paul Millsap, they will have a top five back court with their two young guards.
