In today’s new era of great and versatile big men, Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is starting to get noticed by his peers.

Surprisingly, one of these peers is Joel Embiid. The man who has made a name for himself by being a force for the Philadelphia 76ers and trash talking quite a bit actually admitted Jokic is better than him on twitter.

And yes, this was his official twitter page if you are wondering if it is fake or not. Here is what he said.

"” Sorry but that Jokic dude is WAY better than me.” Joel Embiid"

This was tweeted on July 10 of this year at the time of 12:54 P.M. If you want to see the tweet for yourself, then look at my twitter page which is Huff_GHarris14 (credit to Nugg Life for sharing the tweet as well).

This is ironic considering Embiid is no stranger to controversy. Especially when it comes to starting beef with other NBA players as well. Do not forget, this is the same guy that took shots at the first overall draft pick, DeAndre Ayton, when he drew comparisons to Embiid himself.

The debate on which big man is better in the NBA is a debate which has picked up a ton of speed this past year as both Embiid and Jokic have made great strides in their development.

Not to mention, Karl Anthony Towns is also in the conversation for the best young star centers as of right now.

Whether you would rather have Embiid or Jokic is beside the point here. They are both great in their own way and many teams would love to have either one of them on their squad.

It is great to see Jokic finally getting the necessary praise from the other elite big men in the league.

Watch out NBA, Jokic is only going to get better along with Joel Embiid.
