The Denver Nuggets’ schedule has now been released. Once again, they have a brutal end of the year.

With that in mind, things will be different this time. Keep in mind, the Nuggets put together a major win streak which almost got them into the post season.

With some new faces and the young guys having another year of experience under their belt, Denver will be an even tougher out in terms of the Western Conference playoff picture. Do not talk to me about the Lakers having LeBron now, they do not really have anyone outside of him and they still need to develop chemistry with each other.

The Nuggets on the other hand, have developed a great team chemistry with each other as they have been patient with their core and allowed them to blossom with the necessary role players surrounding them. With a healthy Paul Millsap and a motivated Isaiah Thomas now on the team, the Nuggets are not going to go down without a fight in the final stretch of the regular season.

It will be easier said than done, but they will be able to win some of these key games to keep them alive in the post season chase. Here is what the last stretch of the season looks like: At Houston, at Oklahoma City, vs. Washington, at Golden State, vs. San Antonio, vs. Portland, at Portland, at Utah and finally, vs. Minnesota.

It is a little ironic the last game of the year is once again against the Timberwolves, but at least it will be at home this time. It will be a challenge, but this young team will be up for it. If they handle business at the beginning of the year, they will have a bit of a cushion for the playoff chase by the time this stretch comes.

Denver handled their final stretch last season well and they will handle it well again this coming season, but this time, with a post season spot.
