The Denver Nuggets will also have a new look as well as they will have the former Laker, Isaiah Thomas, on their roster who will most likely be coming off the bench for Jamal Murray.
The game following this one will be the Cleveland Cavaliers who will have Kevin Love still at their disposal and will be taking on the Boston Celtics who will be led by the return of Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward.
However, the Nuggets vs. Lakers match up will be very intriguing despite it being preseason. Both teams have some high expectations. Despite gaining LeBron, the Lakers will still have to find a way to get the chemistry to mesh. Not to mention, Kyle Kuzma will be looking to make the next step in his development.
For the Nuggets, they will be bolstered in the return of a Paul Millsap who will finally be 100% and newly acquired Isaiah Thomas as alluded to already. It may be preseason, but it will be great to see our squad back in action after a crazy off season with so many twists and turns.
This game could be a preview of just how well all of these moves and signings will pay of in the regular season. For the Lakers, it will be a gauge to see how good they will be with the addition of the greatest player in the world in LeBron James.
All in all, it will be great to see NBA basketball return even if it is only a preseason game.
