Denver Nuggets: Top 10 enforcers in Nuggets history
By Blake Holmes
At number nine for the Denver Nuggets, I have Jusuf Nurkic.
Hate him or love him (most fans do the latter), Jusuf Nurkic was a great enforcer for the Nuggets.

His cocky attitude, the play-style, and the outspokenness of Nurk was such a confidence booster when it came to the feeling of the Nuggets. It’s really too bad that he couldn’t find a place with the roster for this reason.
I’m not saying that I disagree with the front office letting him go on to Portland, but I definitely wish that the “Jurkic” experiment could have worked out a little better than it actually did.
Jokic was and definitely still is the better player, but Nurkic brought such a fire to the court and attitude that was really hard to ignore.
I mean, this was a guy that would literally lay the ball down in the laps of the people that he would knock down in the post. That takes another level of cockiness that isn’t really seen a ton in the NBA these days.
That being said, it does dock him some points in my book that he didn’t try to stick around with the team, being as outspoken as he was about the playing situation and his wanting to leave.
