The Denver Nuggets were able to maintain their dominance as they defeated the Sacramento Kings to go 4-0 on the season.

Although the team gave up over 100 points for the first time this season, the Denver Nuggets were able to still come out with a win.

They defeated the Sacramento Kings by a final score of 126-112 thanks to Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, Paul Millsap and Gary Harris.

Jokic finished the game with 14 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. He also possessed a field goal percentage of 54.5% and had a player differential of +18.

Jamal Murray bounced back after his disappointing performance in the win over the Golden State Warriors as he led the way scoring with 19 points on 60% shooting from the field. Not to mention, he also had four assists and had a big role defensively in holding De’Aaron Fox in check to only six points while shooting only 25% from the field.

Gary Harris was his usual efficient self as he came away with 18 points and also helped facilitate the offense by recording a total of five assists. He also held his own on the defensive side of the floor as he logged a steal and helped hold Buddy Hield to only five points on 28.6% shooting.

Paul Millsap had a bounce back game as he found himself in double figures for points by recording 15 points and even had five key rebounds. Millsap also finished with a steal and a blocked shot.

The Nuggets may have let the Kings score over 100 points, but their balanced attack was too much to overcome. Eight different Nuggets ended up in double figures in the points category as Trey Lyles and Mason Plumlee were instrumental pieces off the bench.

The first half saw the Nuggets get off to a hot start and set the tone. They were able to outscore the Kings in the first two quarters and even had a lead as big as 27 at one point. The Kings on the other hand, did not even have a lead for the entire game.

It was Denver’s night from opening tip off and they capitalized. They will shift their focus to the Los Angeles Lakers as they will match up with them on TNT on October 25. It will be imperative for them to carry this momentum into this particular game which will be nationally televised.

Otherwise, they could be looking at their first loss of the regular season.
