9) Mamadou N’Diaye

The Denver Nuggets drafted Mamadou with the 26th pick and then promptly traded him to Toronto without Mamadou playing a single game.

On top of all that, the pieces Denver got in the trade (Kevin Willis, Garth Joseph
and Aleksander Radojevic) were barely used or of use to Denver anyway.

So for all intents and purposes, Denver wasted its 26th pick.

8)Rob Williams

Had significant success at the collegiate level for the University of Houston.

He’s the 5th leading scorer of all time and lead the Cougars to the final four in 1982. However, for whatever reason Williams was unable to produce at the NBA level.

Apparently there were games where Rob was simply unable to play, causing the Denver Nuggets to suspect Rob was guilty of substance misuse.

Sadly, the issue remained unresolved and just two short years after being drafted. Rob Williams found himself out of the NBA with career averages of 8.6 points per game, 2.2 rebounds per game and 5.4 assists on 43.9% shooting from the field.
