The Denver Nuggets will seek revenge on the Milwaukee Bucks.
The last time these two teams faced off, the Denver Nuggets succumbed to an overtime loss. Giannis Antetokounmpo was his usual self tallying 22 points, nine rebounds and eight assists giving the Greek Freak a near triple double.
However, what really killed the Nuggets’ defense was the big man, Brook Lopez. Lopez did his best Steph Curry impersonation by raining eight three point shots which resulted in him coming away with 28 points.
With that in mind, the match up to watch in this game will be Nikola Jokic against Brook Lopez. In the last game against the Bucks, Nikola Jokic had a solid, all around game per usual. He came away with 20 points on 60% shooting and also tallied six rebounds and six assists.

However, if Lopez is going to heat up from three point territory again, then Jokic is going to be tested on the defensive end of the floor. So far this season, Jokic has shown some slight improvements on the defensive end of the floor.
He is currently averaging a career best defensive rating of 102 to go along with a career best steal average of 1.4 per game. Not to mention, he also possesses a steal percentage of 2.4% which also happens to be a career high so far for the Serbian sensation. His block percentage is at 2.7% and he has a defensive rebounding percentage of 29.1%.
Lopez on the other hand, is having a decent season on the offensive side of the floor. He is averaging an effective field goal percentage of 62.5% to go along with a career high offensive rating of 123. He is also shooting 42.5% fro three point range as well.
As a result, the Joker may have more trouble than usual defensively given how well Lopez has integrated into Milwaukee’s system.
With this in mind, this is clearly the match up to watch in this pivotal away game for the Denver Nuggets.
