The Denver Nuggets’ recent slump has posed more questions than answers.

With this being in mind, one of the questions for the Denver Nuggets becomes, do they need to make a trade?

While it may be enticing to try to bite on the John Wall and Bradley Beal trade rumors coming out of Washington, one has to be cautious and not make a knee jerk reaction.

Sure, an All Star like Wall or Beal would make the Nuggets look even more glamorous.

But, would it really help the team in the long run? Gary Harris is pretty much a Bradley Beal type of players and trading for John Wall just does not seem to do anything to Jamal Murray‘s development in the grand scheme of things.

What about the fact the Nuggets have slipped since their 9-3 start to the regular season?

We cannot forget, we have two key players injured right now. Will Barton will be coming back soon and Isaiah Thomas, our big free agent acquisition, has been rehabbing his hip.

Once these two players are in the lineup, then expect the offensive production to pick up and make the team look more like the offensive juggernaut that they were from last season. As irritating as it may be to hear this phrase as it seems to have been the motto for the last three years, we need to “be patient.”

The Nuggets have lost some key games, but we cannot forget, they have also had a few convincing wins over power houses like the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. If they can settle down and everyone on the same page again, then this team will be in fine shape. Even with the recent slump, Denver is still in the heart of the post season race in the extremely tough Western Conference.
