Paul Millsap was incredible and gave the Nuggets an all star like performance grabbing 5 steals during a 25 point scoring night. The Denver Nuggets got a much needed win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night.

The Denver Nuggets looked a bit closer to the 9-1 team with such high hopes from the recent past holding Minnesota to 101 points and were scoring the ball very effectively until they relaxed a bit in the 4th quarter.

If Millsap hadn’t suffered a cut that had to be stitched up the Nuggets may have ran away with the game.

Towns appeared to be complaining about the call as Millsap was down on the court with blood streaming down his face. Jamal Murray had a good night including a hot stretch win the Nuggets had to have it.

Nikola Jokic had a double-double and a good night despite struggling a bit to shoot and hesitance to go to the rim, and Gary Harris was Gary Harris contributing on both ends of the court as her does night in and night out.

Overall, all 9 players to see time on the court contributed and did their part in mostly efficient manner. Monte Morris and Malik Beasley provided 20 bench points shooting a combined 8-11 and Mason Plumlee played great defense with 3 steals and a block, grabbed 4 boards and facilitated with 7 assists.

Juancho and Trey Lyles both struggled to score, but filled their roles with Juancho grabbing 6 rebounds. That all proved to be just enough to get the win.

It’s time for us all to give thanks and enjoy our meals with family and friends, and tomorrow the Nuggets will have to find the same focus and intensity from the last game because the better then expected Orlando Magic are coming to town and every game counts in the Western Conference playoff race.
