The Denver Nuggets will take on the red hot Portland Trail Blazers.

With this in mind, what is the match up to watch in this pivotal match up between the Denver Nuggets and the Portland Trail Blazers?

Of course, I am going to go with Jusuf Nurkic against Nikola Jokic. Is Nurkic on the same level and playing field as Nikola Jokic?

Absolutely not and that is part of the problem with his ego. Remember, the spoiled brat who threw a fit because Nikola Jokic outplayed him for the starting spot in Denver’s rotation.

Oh, and let’s not forget the childish barbs about Denver when they missed the post season (newsflash Jusuf, the only reason you  made the post season is because of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, certainly not you.) Pardon the rant, but it needed to happen. With this in mind, I am going to go big for my prediction on the Joker’s performance.

I truly believe Nikola Jokic will take Nurkic to town and notch a triple double and at an efficient rate. He has had a hard time getting his shot to fall lately, he shot only 35% in the last game, but was cooking in the second half.

It only makes sense for this momentum to carry over into this next game as the Nuggets took out the starters with a huge lead to preserve their energy and not risk injury.  Who knows what the Joker would have done with more minutes against the Lakers?

He could have gotten his triple double. All is well though as I would rather see Joker showcase his skill and show why he is the better player than Nurkic by a good 75%.

Next. Assigning the Nuggets as Infinity War characters. dark

Nurkic may have found a home in Portland, but it does not change the fact that Nikola Jokic is going to show him how a true basketball player plays.
