The Denver Nuggets will look to bounce back after a brutal loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Denver Nuggets are going to be in for a fight in San Antonio. After a rough start to the year, the Spurs have found their footing getting themselves into the post season picture after rattling off consecutive wins by 20 or more points.
As a result, it will be easier said than done for the Nuggets to get back in the win column after the stomping they received at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers. However, it is not impossible as the Denver Nuggets have showed a ton of resiliency this season.
With this in mind, what is the main key for the team to bounce back in a tough road game in San Antonio? The answer may be simpler than you think.

The key winning this game for the Denver Nuggets is to play team ball. By this I mean that they need to get back to distributing the ball effectively. So far this season, the team is averaging 26.7 assists per game which is good for fourth in the league.
The only teams ahead of them in this department are the Philadelphia 76ers, New Orleans Pelicans and of course the Golden State Warriors.
To put this into perspective, in loss to the Clippers, Denver fell behind their average as they only tallied 21 assists as a team. The Clippers logged 28 assists.
As a result, the Nuggets have to get back to being a cohesive unit and willing to pass up good shots for higher percentage looks regardless of how open a player may be in a possession.
If guys such as Jamal Murray, Monte Morris and of course, Nikola Jokic, can facilitate the offense effectively, then they will have a fighting chance against the Spurs on the road.
